Canvas Pilot Fall 2020

Canvas opens to all spring 2021.

Next Steps

Faculty have full access to the Canvas pilot for spring 2021 courses. You may create new Canvas courses or migrate existing Blackboard courses over to the new Learning Management Software (LMS). To enroll in Canvas, contact your department course scheduler. If you are interested in immediate access request a “sandbox” account via this request form.

  • Note there are some limitations in terms of integrations, such as Perusall. For a full list of supported integrations, see https://lmstransition.wsu.edu/integrations/
  • Global Campus courses will not be transitioning to Canvas until full implementation of the LMS in fall 2021.

Users can contribute directly to the Canvas pilot by submitting “wish list” items—any limitations currently faced in Blackboard—via the form below.

AOI’s Learning Innovations calendar includes upcoming Canvas workshops and tutorials, and assistance with course migration can be found by reaching out to migrationhelp@wsu.edu. And, as always, Crimson Service Desk is standing by to assist via email, self-help articles available around the clock online, and by phone at (509) 335-4357 during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
