October 22, 2015

The Faculty Senate was called to order by Richard Zack, Chair on Thursday October 22, 2015, in FSHN T101 at 3:30 p.m. thirty-two (32) members were present with sixteen (16) absent and seven (7) nonvoting members present.

Minutes of October 8, 2015 meeting were approved as circulated.

    2. Graduate Studies Committee has approved Biological and Agricultural Engineering Graduate Program Bylaws and these are available on the department’s website

    2. On October 20 I visited the Tri-Cities campus to meet with constituents. November 12-13, I will be at the Vancouver campus and a Spokane trip will be scheduled.
    3. Reminder of the meet and greet at Birch & Barley after this meeting.
    4. Please relay any questions, concerns or thoughts to the faculty representatives on the Presidential Search Committee

      1. MOTION: To ask the Board of Regents to arrange Pullman campus visits with the finalists for the WSU Presidential position.
