It seems really tone-deaf to me to have a Provost search on top of the Chancellor of Pullman position. This will grow our already byzantine upper administration while we are repeatedly asked to give back college level funds. ~Anonymous Faculty

Not only is the current Provost search tone deaf, but it violates the spirit of shared governance given that a motion to “suspend all job searches for system-level executive positions” was recently passed by Faculty Senate. See action item 19 (exhibits 405A and B) in the 04-04-24 Faculty Senate Agenda.
