The Faculty Senate met on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in French 130D and via Zoom. Fifty-nine (59) senators were present with twenty-six (26) absent and eleven (11) non-voting members present. The meeting was called to order by the Chair, Christine Horne at 3:59 pm.

  6. Constituent Concerns
    1. Comment: In his letter, the WSU President did not address all of the questions including why the athletic department is allowed to have a 3% increase this year while academic programs are receiving a 6% cut. There may be a potential disconnect between how the administration and the faculty feel about athletic and academic inequity. -V. Walden
