I understand the graduate students are voting whether to go on strike. If they strike, does the Faculty Senate plan to issue a statement supporting the graduate students or will the Faculty Senate ignore the situation?

The faculty senate is keenly interested in this issue and recognizes the mutually beneficial and interdependent relationship between graduate students and faculty. Presently, the guidance from WSU Human resources indicates that faculty should refrain from expressing opinions in support of, or opposition to, any job action.
