Please join us in welcoming Dr. Ryan Thomas as the 2026-2027 Faculty Senate Chair-Elect and newest member of the Faculty Senate Executive Team. We are also pleased to welcome back Dr. Matt Hudelson, who will continue his service as the 2026-2027 Faculty Senate Executive Secretary.

The Faculty Senate completed its election process (with 54 votes cast by 54 senators, surpassing the required 40% threshold to validate the election). We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ryan Thomas to the Executive Committee as Chair-Elect for the 2026-2027 academic year and extend our thanks to Dr. Matt Hudelson for his service and his willingness to continue as the Executive Secretary for another term. Both officers will formally begin their terms on August 16, 2026.
