For folks whose contracts end in May 2026, especially those with long-term contracts (more than 1 year) coming to an end, would it be possible to provide them notice of intent to renew or non-renewal ahead of the contract ending? Ideally, they would get 3-6 months notice so they can begin preparing for the job market.

The Faculty Senate Executive Officers have been notified of this forum post. This topic has been added to the agenda for the next Faculty Senate Executive meeting with the Provost Office and a response will be posted as soon as more information is available.
