Composition:

Function:
- Reviews materials to be discussed and voted on by Senate
- Maintains communication between Senate and faculty constituents. Coordinate with each other to ensure that all faculty, not just those in the Senator’s department, are kept up-to-date on Senate business and have opportunities to express constituent concerns to Senators.
- Attends Senate meetings and participates in Senate discussions and votes.
Workload:
- Attend Senate meetings. (Thursday 3:30 – 5:00 every two weeks = 0.75 hours/week)
- Review agenda materials before Senate meetings in order to be prepared to discuss and vote on proposals. (1.25 hour/week)
- Facilitate communication between faculty and senate by bringing constituent concerns to the attention of the Senate and the Senate Executive Committee and by providing faculty with the information about Senate activities. (1 hour/week)
- Total: 3 hours/week
