Faculty Senate Public Testimony Opportunity

The Washington State University Faculty Senate will provide an opportunity for public written testimony at each regular meeting of the Senate.

Unless otherwise specified by the agenda or the chair, the written testimony will be linked at the bottom of the Faculty Senate agenda.

The opportunity to submit testimony will begin at 8:00 am on the Friday before the Faculty Senate meeting and conclude at 2:00 pm Thursday of the regularly scheduled Faculty Senate meeting.

Ways to submit testimony:

Please include the following in your public testimony:

  • Full name
  • email address
  • Phone number
  • Subject of your testimony (Faculty Senate agenda item number if applicable)
  • Relationship to the University (student, faculty, staff, alumni, other)

The Faculty Senate is not obligated to discuss or take action on public testimony. People giving testimony are requested to be aware of Faculty Senate’s general practice to advance topics in two steps, first as a discussion item, then as an action item that will be voted on at a subsequent meeting.

The next opportunity to submit testimony will begin at 8:00 am on the Friday before the regularly scheduled Faculty Senate meeting.
