We are currently experiencing a rapid transformation of the workplace. As a leader, you may find yourself struggling with how to navigate and lead your team through the challenges that can come with change. In this webinar you’ll learn about the human side of change, how change impacts you as a leader and your work group, strategies to support your team through change, and what resources are available to support both you and your employees.

Facilitator for Navigating Change and Leading Change:

Kari Uhlman is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselor for Washington State and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She supports public employees and family members in identifying and resolving personal and workplace concerns and provides EAP presentations on work/life topics throughout Washington State. She has a special place in her heart for foster and adopted children as she previously specialized in working with these families. Prior to becoming a counselor, Kari was in the field of training, leadership, and organizational development for 20 years in healthcare and higher education.

Employee Assistance Program: Strategies for Stress Management

HRS Learning and Organizational Development is pleased to announce that we’re welcoming the Employee Assistance Program for a special offering: Strategies for Stress Management.

This session will be presented by Tiffany Wentz, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who has over 10 years in training and education, and who uses humor and authenticity to deliver engaging trainings designed to help improve overall mental health and wellness.

During this presentation, participants will:

  • Explore what stress is
  • Learn how our bodies respond to stress
  • Identify ways to effectively manage stressful situations
  • Provide information on resources and supports available to you

Participants will also learn about “good” and “bad” stress and how they can benefit from adopting effective strategies for managing the stress that comes their way.
