Strategic Planning Committee
- The committee is charged with overseeing and coordinating the review and updating of the strategic plan. In subsequent years, it will provide an annual report on the accomplishments of the previous year, including performance to benchmarks.
- A standing committee, with staggered three-year terms. There are currently 22 members.
- We are to consider the four components of the current plan: Vision, Mission, Values, and Goals. Most of the work will be done in groups. Currently, there are three groups: Mission, Values, and Goals.
- A smaller committee than before, but input is sought
from many and open forums are scheduled, there is a
website, and e-mails are welcome. See the following

- It is still a compass rather than a roadmap, to define where we are going in a 10-year time frame. College and unit plans will follow from the university plan.
- We are currently meeting, with the intention of having a revised Strategic Plan for university-wide review in December.
