Functions:

Serves in an advisory capacity to the Registrar in matters pertaining to registration and records.

Makes recommendations to the Registrar and/or Vice President of Student Affairs, Equity and Diversity on policies governing registration and records.

Reviews unusual requests for information and for assisting in the interpretation of WAC 504-21, University Policy on Student Education Records.

Hears appeals as defined in WAC 504-21-040.

Acts in the capacity of a hearing panel as described in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 and the Privacy rights of Parents and Students published by HEW on June 17, 1976.
