Functions:

On a continuing basis, reviews and appraises student affairs policies.

Advises the Vice President for Student Affairs, Equity and Diversity.

Makes recommendations regarding the development and implementation of policies affecting student life and welfare as administered by the University and in particular, but not limited to, the functions and responsibilities of the various units within the Division of Student Affairs.

Reviews and recommends policy in planning the program of activities for new students; considers policy related to introducing students to the intellectual and social climates of the University.

Six faculty, one of whom is from the Division of Student Affairs. (F)

Three undergraduate students, selected by the Associated Students of Washington State University, with two-year terms. (U)

Two graduate students, selected by the Graduate and Professional Student Association, with two-year terms. (G)
