Faculty Senate

Steering Committee

Functions:

  1. Deals with matters relating to agenda, referral, voting, and elections.

  2. Acts as emergency advisory council to the President.

  3. May serve as Summer Executive Committee to carry out functions delegated to it by the Senate.

Composition:

  1. The Chair, Vice Chair and Executive Secretary of the Faculty Senate shall, ipso facto, be members and officers of the Steering Committee.

  2. It shall also include the Chair of the Senate from the previous year, the three voting Regional Campus Senators and the chairs of the following committees: Academic Affairs, Budget, Faculty Affairs, Graduate Studies, and Research and Arts.

  3. The Legislative Representative shall be an ex-officio member. (X)
